Does getting permanent eyebrows hurt?
No more than watching the Flames lose to the Oilers at the Saddledome! Jokes aside, we do everything in our power to alleviate any pain or stress to our clients during each appointment. Numbing creams are used prior and throughout the process to keep clients comfortable at all times!
How long do permanent eyebrows actually last?
This depends on a multitude of factors! Irrespective, we recommend annual touch ups to keep your brow colour and shape as fresh as the morning pastries at Hoopla Donuts.
How long does it take to get permanent eyebrow makeup?
We allow 2-2.5 hours for each procedure - perfection can’t be rushed!! The majority of the appointment time is allocated to numbing, shaping and colour matching. Hey, it still beats sitting in Deerfoot rush hour for two hours!
How much downtime is there after getting permanent eyebrows?
Visually? Zero. Your brows will look amazing the entire healing process! However, we do recommend no workouts (major sweating), hot tubs, pools, saunas, beach or direct sun exposure for 14 days to allow for proper topical healing and to reduce the risk of infection. That means no Bow River floats or visits to the waterslides at the Southland Leisure Centre for a couple of weeks…but it’ll be worth it in the end!
